  • How do you initially start working with couples?
    I prefer to see both partners at the initial session but am flexible if there are sensitive issues that need to be presented in separate individual sessions.
  • Do you work with children?
    I do but only with children from ages 10 on up. I particularly enjoy working with teenagers.
  • Can I reach you through texting?
    Yes, you can communicate with me through texting. I don't have a secretary, so I am very open to this form of communication.
  • Do you do sessions in Spanish?
    Yes, I do. I am bilingual. I often work with only Spanish speaking families or couples.
  • Are you a trained marriage and family therapist?
    Yes, I have received formal training and education in marriage and family therapy. I trained at the Menninger Clinic in Topeka, KS. I am a current Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
  • Are you a qualified Substance Abuse Professional?
    Yes, I am. I conduct evaluations for employees who have tested positive for drugs or alcohol under DOT or DISA guidelines. The employee must go through this evaluation process before they are able to return to work.
